A clean logo with transparent background usually looks best on both light and dark image areas.
Make logo watermarks readable
Keep it small
For public publishing, a corner logo watermark is usually more polished than a large centered logo.
Test thumbnails
Thin lines can disappear after resizing. Preview at the final size before applying the watermark to a batch.
